Iran has presented a 10-point plan to the US regarding the cessation of war.
Modern.az reports that "The New York Times" published information on this matter.
It was stated that Tehran has put forward a number of key demands for ensuring long-term peace. These demands include the cessation of all Israeli attacks, including strikes against “Hezbollah”.
At the same time, Iran demands the complete lifting of all sanctions imposed against the country and the provision of security guarantees to prevent possible future attacks. Within the framework of the plan, support for the restoration of the country's infrastructure is also noted as one of the main conditions.
Furthermore, Iran seeks the establishment of a safe navigation regime in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the information, official Tehran is ready to re-authorize the passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz in return. Additionally, a payment of approximately 2 million dollars is envisioned to be collected from each vessel.
