The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan (MFA) has issued a statement regarding the ceasefire reached between the US and Iran.
According to Modern.az, the statement says:
"We highly appreciate the efforts of all parties mediating in achieving the ceasefire.
We hope that this ceasefire will contribute to the de-escalation of tensions in the region, as well as to the establishment of lasting peace and stability.
We call on the parties for a productive dialogue aimed at resolving existing issues and building mutual trust.
Azerbaijan is always ready to support initiatives aimed at strengthening lasting peace, security, and cooperation in the region."
