Restoration work has commenced in the area following a collapse in a section of the fortress wall in “Icherisheher”.
According to Modern.az, restoration work is currently underway in the area where the erosion was recorded.
It should be recalled that today, around 05:00 AM, erosion was observed in a small section of the historical fortress walls at Kiçik Qala street, specifically where towers 13-14 intersect.
It should be noted that, according to the preliminary opinion of experts, the main cause of the erosion is humidity and natural erosion processes resulting from the incessant atmospheric precipitation observed in recent days.
