Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs on April 9.
Modern.az reports that, the guest expressed her respect for the memory of the heroic sons of the Homeland who sacrificed their lives and became martyrs in the struggle for Azerbaijan's independence and territorial integrity, and laid a wreath in front of the “Eternal Flame” monument.
Later, the Prime Minister, who observed the panorama of the Azerbaijani capital, was informed about the history of the Alley of Martyrs, the special place this site holds in the memory of our people, and the landscaping and construction work carried out in our city.
