An attempt by a US warship to cross the Strait of Hormuz has been prevented.
Modern.az reports that Iran's "Mehr" agency spread information about this.
According to the information, the US destroyer was forced to turn back after Iran's stern warning. It is reported that the Iranian side monitored the movement of the ship and informed the delegation participating in the negotiations mediated by Pakistan about it.
The message delivered by the Iranian side to the US stated that if the ship continued its movement, it would be hit within 30 minutes and the US-Iran negotiations would be disrupted.
It should be noted that earlier Axios journalist Barak Ravid claimed that several US Navy ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz. However, a security official denied this information.
Iranian media reported that after the warning, the US warship changed its direction and returned.
