Elnur Mammadov, one of the founders and chief author of the “Parni iz Baku” KVN team, considered a living legend, has passed away.
Modern.az reports that Mushfig Abbasov, the head of the “Bu şəhərdə” team, provided information on this matter.
He stated that E. Mammadov will be buried tomorrow in Hovsan cemetery.
It should be noted that Elnur Mammadov was one of the founders of the “Parni iz Baku” KVN team, which operated from 1988 to 2001 and achieved great success. During those years, he also wrote the scripts for the team's performances and played an exceptional role in the development of many KVN participants.
In the 1990s, he also led a large media network and possessed extensive public relations and opportunities.
At the peak of his career, he became addicted to alcohol and gradually lost everything. E. Mammadov, who turned 60 last year, had been living a homeless life for years and suffered from many illnesses. Despite the insistence of his loyal friends, he refused treatment. (axar.az)
