The Victory Day parade held in Baku demonstrated the further expansion of Azerbaijan's military supply map. The weapons displayed for the first time in the parade, as well as newly acquired equipment, prove that our country is not dependent on a single source.

According to research conducted by Modern.az, Azerbaijan acquires weapons and equipment from more than 10 countries.

In recent years, military products acquired from **Turkey, Israel, and Pakistan** have increased our army's precision strike capability.

The massive participation of **Israeli**-made systems in the parade attracted attention. The PULS modular rocket artillery system by "Elbit Systems" and its integrated "Predator Hawk" missiles, displayed at the parade, are launched from containers and are capable of delivering precise strikes to targets at a distance of approximately 300 kilometers.

The "IceBreaker" operational-tactical missiles by "Rafael" company were also displayed for the first time at the parade. Furthermore, the 624-millimeter "LORA" operational-tactical missile complex, used during the Patriotic War, attracted special attention. In addition to these, Israeli-made armored vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and other equipment participated in the parade.

Surface-to-surface precision fire systems such as TRLG-230 and TRG-300, produced by "Roketsan" company and acquired from **Turkey**, constituted an important part of the parade. The laser and GPS/INS-guided destruction capabilities of these systems, which can operate in conjunction with unmanned aerial vehicles, are among the technologies prioritized by Azerbaijan. At the same time, "Bayraktar TB2" and the heavier class "Akıncı" UAVs form the backbone of the country's unmanned aerial vehicle fleet.

The HQ-9BE (FD-2000B) long-range surface-to-air missile system, acquired from **China**, was presented to the general public for the first time in 2025. According to open-source information, this system is capable of engaging air targets at distances up to 250–260 kilometers and strengthens the "upper layer" of the multi-layered air defense architecture by complementing existing systems such as S-300, Buk, and Tor.

In the field of military aviation, the adoption of JF-17 Block III fighters into service, as a result of the agreement reached with **Pakistan** in 2024, was highlighted at the parade. The Block III version is equipped with AESA radars and the integration of modern air-to-air and air-to-ground weapons, offering significant combat aviation capability for the region.

The **Italian**-made C-27J Spartan tactical transport aircraft was presented at the parade as one of the newly introduced platforms; this aircraft is capable of operating on short runways and carrying approximately 11 tons of payload.

The modernization of the artillery fleet also continues from European sources. **Belarusian**-made "Polonez-M" systems, **Czech** DANA and DITA howitzers, as well as **Serbian** NORA B-52 howitzers were displayed at the parade. Equipment previously acquired from **Russia**, armored vehicles jointly produced with the **Republic of South Africa**, and small arms acquired from some **European countries** also demonstrated Azerbaijan's strength to the world at the parade.

Consequently, Azerbaijan's weapon procurement is multi-sourced. Precision strike and UAV technologies acquired from Israel and Turkey, strategic air defense systems from China, combat aircraft from Pakistan, and modern artillery complexes from European sources demonstrate that Azerbaijan's military potential is diversified both geographically and technologically.
