A Memorandum of Associative Cooperation has been signed in Baku

An Associative Cooperation Memorandum has been signed in Baku among several public organizations.

Modern.az reports that the memorandum was concluded between the Public Union "Support for Development and Reforms", the Public Union "Veterans of Special Forces, Families of Martyrs and Veterans", the Azerbaijan Health and Thermal Tourism Support Association, and the Skal International Baku Tourism Professionals Association.

Within the framework of the event held at "Safran Hotel Baku", it was also officially announced that the platform “Unity for Azerbaijan, cooperation for the world, for a healthy generation, a strong Homeland, and sustainable development!” has been created.

The main objective of the memorandum is to support socio-economic development initiatives, expand opportunities for veterans, martyrs' families, and youth, as well as implement joint projects in the field of tourism and health tourism. The document also envisages strengthening strategic partnership between the parties and implementing innovative and international projects.

Among the activity areas of the coalition are the formation of a healthy and sustainable society, strengthening social support for martyrs' families and veterans, development of health and thermal tourism, expansion of international tourism cooperation, as well as the promotion of socially responsible projects.

Within the framework of the memorandum, the preparation and implementation of socio-economic projects, corporate social responsibility programs, joint initiatives in tourism and health tourism, education and vocational training programs, projects aimed at increasing employment, the formation of startups, and the creation of innovation platforms are envisaged. Furthermore, expanding cooperation with international partners, organizing youth policy and leadership programs, healthcare and rehabilitation initiatives, holding cultural and sports events, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and strengthening the spirit of patriotism are also among the main priorities.

Speaking at the event, Vugar Bayramov, a Member of the Milli Majlis, stated that the cooperation of various organizations contributes significantly to the country's development. According to him, combining tourism, social initiatives, and economic activity on a single platform can yield important results for both the state and society.

Ruslan Guliyev, President of the Azerbaijan Health and Thermal Tourism Support Association, noted that strengthening cooperation with rural communities, establishing self-financing agrotourism complexes, and expanding career opportunities for youth are among the main objectives. He stated that projects in this direction are planned to be expanded through the joint activities of the organizations.

Jeyhun Ashurov, Chairman of the Skal International Baku Tourism Professionals Association, emphasized that the memorandum will enable more coordinated cooperation among public unions. According to him, this cooperation can also yield significant results in terms of supporting social and vulnerable groups.

Ramil Aliyev, Chairman of the Public Union "Support for Development and Reforms", also stated that the goals set within the platform will contribute to cooperation both domestically and across the Turkic world.

Bahruz Mammadzade, Chairman of the Public Union "Veterans of Special Forces, Families of Martyrs and Veterans", noted that the new cooperation platform will also create significant opportunities for increasing social support and vocational training for veterans and martyrs' families. 

Vugar Zeynalov, Vice-President of the Azerbaijan Entrepreneurs Confederation, also spoke about the importance of the memorandum. He stated that this cooperation will contribute to the implementation of social and economic initiatives and wished success to the platform's activities.

At the event, Doğan Tomris, Executive Director of the Turan Gastrotourism Academy, also gave a presentation on the academy's activities, and cooperation opportunities within the platform were discussed.

Representatives of state bodies, public organizations, tourism sector representatives, and media representatives also participated in the ceremony.
