A missile launched from Iran towards Turkey was shot down in the air

A ballistic missile advancing from Iran towards Turkey's airspace was detected. 

Modern.az reports that Turkey's Ministry of National Defense issued a statement regarding this. 

It was noted that the detected ballistic missiles were neutralized by NATO air and missile defense forces deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.
