The former leader of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Urals has been requested to be sentenced to 23 years in prison.
Modern.az reports that the state prosecutor requested a 23-year prison sentence for Shahin Shikhlinksi, the former leader of the Azerbaijani diaspora in the Urals, who is accused of two crimes.
Citing a source in the security forces, it is reported that the criminal case is nearing completion and final statements are being made in the Sverdlovsk Regional Court.
Shahin Shikhlinksi is being tried together with the Safarov brothers (5 people) and Shujayaddin Rajabov.
