"We will never forget this fraternal support."
Modern.az reports, citing local media, that Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated this in his address to the country's Muslims, including Azerbaijanis.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Muslim community on the occasions of Ramadan and Novruz holidays, and particularly appreciated their decision not to celebrate the holidays during the period of national mourning dedicated to the memory of Catholicos-Patriarch Ilia II.
"I express my special gratitude for the sincere condolences and the cancellation of holiday events during these days. For centuries, our ancestors lived and created Georgia's history side by side, and together we are building Georgia's future," Kobakhidze noted.
