Armenia's defense spending reduction is not related to the Azerbaijan factor.
Modern.az reports that Armenian Parliament Speaker Alen Simonyan stated this.
He noted that for objective reasons, Armenia cannot compete in terms of military expenditures with Azerbaijan and Turkey, which possesses the second largest army in NATO.
“The main issue here is the efficient use of funds,” the speaker noted.
