During 2024 and the current year, the marriages of 154 foreign citizens were formalized at the Palace of Happiness.
This was reported by the Ministry of Justice in response to an inquiry from Modern.az.
It was noted that in 2024, 84, and during the first 8 months of 2025, the marriages of 70 foreign citizens were concluded at the Palace of Happiness.
It should be noted that if one or both of those wishing to marry in our country are foreign citizens or stateless persons, a copy of the document confirming their legal presence or residence in the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as a certificate of marital status, must be attached to the application.
