Mongolian Prime Minister Gombjavyn Zandanshatar has resigned.

Zandanshatar became prime minister in June. His candidacy was put forward by the Mongolian People's Party, which won the majority of seats in the Khural (parliament) in the 2024 elections.
Gombjavyn Zandanshatar studied finance and economics from 1987 to 1992 at the Irkutsk Institute of National Economy (now Baikal State University) in Russia. From 2019 to 2024, he served as Speaker of Parliament, and since 2024, he has held the position of Head of the Mongolian President's Office.
