Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will pay a working visit to the Vatican from October 18 to 20.
Modern.az reports that within the framework of the visit, Pashinyan will participate in the canonization ceremony to be held on October 19 in St. Peter's Square.
The ceremony will be presided over by Pope Leo XIV, and the canonization of seven new saints, including Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan, will take place.
According to the visit program, a private meeting between Nikol Pashinyan and Pope Leo XIV is also planned. In addition, the Armenian Prime Minister will also hold a meeting with the Holy See's Secretary of State, Pietro Parolin.
