The US sanctions bill against Russia has been postponed until talks between US and Russian presidents Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
Modern.az reports that Senate Majority Leader John Thune announced this.
Trump previously stated that if the war between Russia and Ukraine does not end, “many will have to pay a heavy price”.
The sanctions bill against Moscow has been under consideration for several months, but the leadership of the US Senate and House of Representatives has not brought the bill to a vote.
