A lawsuit has been filed regarding the confiscation of illegally acquired property belonging to former Member of the Armenian Parliament, General Manvel Grigoryan.
Modern.az reports this, citing the Armenian press.
A decision was made for the confiscation of property belonging to the general's family members and close circle, with a total value exceeding 3 million US dollars, the general being remembered for his particular cruelty during the occupation of Azerbaijani territories in the 90s.
The court partially satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
However, the Prosecutor's Office plans to file an appeal regarding the rejected part of the decision.
It should be noted that the property belonging to General Grigoryan and his wife was seized in November 2023.
