Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić stated that Europe intends to establish a new “iron curtain” in its relations with Russia. According to him, this process does not take into account the position of neutral countries and their desire to pursue an independent policy.
Modern.az reports that the President's speech was published by the “Tanjug” agency.
Vučić emphasized that if such an “iron curtain” emerges, Serbia will be one of the most affected countries:
“No one is satisfied with Serbia's policy, with the exception of Serbian citizens. We pursue a policy that defends only the interests of our country and will not serve anyone”.
The Serbian leader added that the new political line forming in Europe will further increase pressure on his country.
