“I do not rule out that I may also go to Azerbaijan within the framework of some international formats”.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Alen Simonyan, Speaker of the Armenian Parliament, in a conversation with journalists on October 22.
"However, there are issues that need to be discussed before that,” said A. Simonyan, citing the Armenians being tried in Baku.
Simonyan stated that the atmosphere during his meeting with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament was better compared to many of his international counterparts.
He added that he saw the Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker's commitment to peace.
“Both of us want the conflict to end once and for all.”
