A villa where fascist dictator Benito Mussolini spent his summer holidays is for sale in Italy.
Modern.az reports that the villa, located on the Adriatic coast, in the Riccione resort of the Emilia-Romagna region, has been put up for sale at auction. The Riccione Municipality is reportedly interested in submitting an offer to purchase the villa.
The potential buyer cannot change the name of the property and must keep it as “Villa Mussolini”.
Benito Mussolini used this villa as a summer residence with his family members from 1934 to 1943. The villa was built in 1893. “Villa Mussolini” reopened in July 2005 after restoration and has been used as a venue for exhibitions and events.
