Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan expressed his support for citizens affected by the earthquake in Balıkesir province.

"I wish a speedy recovery and express my support to our citizens affected by the earthquake that occurred in the Sındırgı district of Balıkesir province and was also felt in neighboring regions.
Our Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) and other relevant institutions continue to conduct detailed investigations and inspections on site. We are also closely monitoring the process. May Allah protect our country and our people from all disasters," the president stated.
