US President Donald Trump confirmed that the issue of providing long-range “Tomahawk” missiles to Ukraine is not currently on the agenda.
Modern.az reports that he spoke about this while answering journalists' questions on board the "Air Force One" aircraft.
“No, at least for now, this issue is not on the agenda,” he said. The President added that he might change his decision, but his current answer is “no.”
Trump also noted that there is no such thing as a “last straw” regarding Russia:
“Sometimes, parties need to be given the opportunity to fight. They are fighting. For Putin, this is a difficult war. He has lost many soldiers, perhaps a million. But the battles are also difficult for Ukraine.”
The head of the White House stated that he is not participating in discussions regarding the confiscation of frozen Russian assets.
