The TRIPP project (Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity) is a transport corridor passing through an economically significant region of the world. The project is designed to stimulate the growth of trade activities on the other side of the Caspian Sea and contribute to the development of Central Asian countries.
Modern.az reports that US President Donald Trump stated this during the C5 + 1 meeting.
According to Trump, the implementation of this route was made possible thanks to a historic agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
"This historic agreement creates a new 'Trump Route'. This is amazing. They - Azerbaijan and Armenia - named this route Trump in my honor, and I truly appreciate it. This is actually a great achievement. Trump's new route is a path to international peace. It passes through an economically significant region and will promote trade along the Caspian Sea, helping the peoples of Central Asia. I am confident that every country participating here today will be able to take advantage of the emerging opportunities," Trump said.
Donald Trump received the leaders of the region's countries yesterday at the White House in the "Central Asia + USA" (C5+1) format.
The presidents of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan participated in the meeting.
