In 2021, the withdrawal of its troops from Afghanistan was NATO's biggest defeat.

 

Modern.az reports that this was stated by former NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.

 

“This was NATO's biggest defeat. But I believe that despite all the pain and suffering of many people, leaving Afghanistan was the right decision”, - Stoltenberg stated.
