Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni within the framework of the G20 Leaders' Summit, and bilateral relations, Gaza, and Ukraine were discussed.
Modern.az reports that during the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Italy, as well as regional and global issues, were discussed.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that steps taken towards developing cooperation in all areas between Turkey and Italy, especially in the defense industry, will continue, and that the deepening of relations will benefit both countries.
Also during the meeting, the sustainability of the ceasefire in Gaza, as well as the importance of resuming the Istanbul talks between Russia and Ukraine, were discussed.
