Armenia's former Minister of Defense Arshak Karapetyan has released a scandalous video. In the video, Karapetyan spoke about how US special services recruited Nikol Pashinyan for cooperation as early as 1999. He noted that he could substantiate his claim with written evidence in his possession.
According to Modern.az, Arshak Karapetyan called Nikol Pashinyan an American agent.
“If someone wants to know who the person considered an agent of influence by several states is, let me tell you, it is the leader of our country,” Arshak Karapetyan stated.
“If this is not the case, let him explain how Ararat Mirzoyan was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs. Let him say why he appointed Ararat Mirzoyan and not Armen Gevorgyan. Let him say whose influence he was under. They say: sovereign government, sovereign government. There was no sovereign government then, nor is there now. Let them not make excuses,” Karapetyan emphasized.
Arshak Karapetyan stated that on August 14, 2020, he warned Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the approaching war.
According to the ex-minister, N. Pashinyan was recruited for cooperation by a US intelligence agency in 1999, when he was a newspaper editor.
According to him, the US intelligence report stated that Pashinyan had low human standards, was selfish, greedy, psychologically unstable, and ultimately concluded that he was a person in need. He also noted that Pashinyan received money from the US government in exchange for providing classified information.
