"Information does not leak after diplomatic contacts conducted through closed channels, but it seems someone can somehow eavesdrop on conversations in the "WhatsApp" messenger".
Modern.az reports that these words were stated by Russian President's aide Yuri Ushakov to the "Kommersant" publication while commenting on the leak of the transcript of his telephone conversation with US leader's special representative Steve Witkoff to the press.
According to him, it is difficult to assume that the information leak originated from the conversation participants:
"No one would cooperate with a partner who leaks information about the discussed issue. Or this would be a conversation where trust is not shown".
It should be recalled that the "Bloomberg" agency published the transcript of the conversation between Witkoff and Ushakov on October 14. They discussed how a telephone conversation between the leaders of Russia and the United States could help resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
