“I am putting forward my candidacy to be the candidate for Prime Minister of the “Civil Contract” Party in the 2026 parliamentary elections”.
Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in a conversation with journalists on November 27.
He assured that the candidate registration process would be transparent.
According to Pashinyan, decisions in the “Civil Contract” Party are made collectively.
"The political activity of our party is not determined by my personality or that of anyone else. I am the head of the party's board, and my vote is decisive, but this does not mean that problems are resolved at a personal level," the Prime Minister noted.
Pashinyan stated that he is extremely confident that the Armenian people will definitely win the 2026 parliamentary elections, and he virtually refers to only his supporters as "the people".
