The Kremlin has confirmed that preparations are underway for a potential meeting in Miami with American counterparts on issues related to the Ukrainian conflict.
Modern.az reports that, answering journalists' questions, Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the Russian side is indeed engaged in preparing relevant contacts with US representatives. According to him, the purpose of these contacts is for the American side to obtain information about the results of work carried out with European countries and Ukraine.
Earlier, “Axios” reported that a Ukrainian delegation, led by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, would arrive in Miami for negotiations with US representatives. According to the publication, the American side will be represented by US Presidential Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Furthermore, according to information provided by “Axios” citing a White House official, negotiations are also planned this weekend in Miami between Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, as well as Kirill Dmitriyev, the Russian President's special representative for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries.
