On December 21-22, the traditional informal summit of CIS leaders and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held in St. Petersburg.

Modern.az reports that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will also participate in the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council to be held in St. Petersburg on December 21. He stated this to journalists during a government briefing.

"My visit to participate in an international event, the meeting of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union, is planned for next Sunday," Pashinyan told reporters.

The meeting coincides with the informal gathering of CIS leaders to be held in St. Petersburg on December 21-22.

Current issues of interaction between the Union countries will be discussed. These include: economic cooperation; ensuring technological and food security; regulation of labor migration; combating sanction pressures and attempts by the West to interfere in the internal policies of CIS countries; cooperation in combating crime and terrorism; interaction between volunteer movements; preservation of a common cultural and humanitarian space and expansion of exchanges between citizens.
