New sanctions were imposed on Iran

The US Department of the Treasury has sanctioned an additional 29 vessels allegedly involved in the transportation of Iranian products.

According to Modern.az, since January, the Trump administration has sanctioned more than 180 vessels related to Iranian oil and gas trade.

The new sanctions also apply to shipping companies operating tankers. The sanctions prohibit these companies from owning assets in the US or conducting any business with US entities or individuals.
