The President of the United States (US) considers being a peacemaker a priority.
According to Moder.az , US Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated this.
He spoke about conflicts resolved during Trump's presidency.
“You saw us involved in resolving persistent problems such as Russia-Ukraine, India and Pakistan, Thailand and Cambodia, the tragedy in Sudan or the potential for conflict in South Sudan, and the conflict in Armenia and Azerbaijan. We always look for opportunities to play a mediating role that allows us to prevent war or end conflicts whenever possible. Of course, in many of these cases, you can bring people to the negotiating table, reach an agreement, and then the implementation process begins. So, we have made progress in many of these, particularly in getting them to agree to certain terms,” Marco Rubio emphasized.
