A plane belonging to “Ryanair” airline collided with a fuel truck at Edinburgh Airport.
Modern.az reports, citing “The Sun”, that as a result of the incident, passengers were evacuated from the plane. According to the information, passengers had already boarded the plane for a flight to Faro, Portugal, and were waiting for departure. The collision occurred during the flight preparation phase. After the incident, fire brigades were dispatched to the airport, and currently one fuel pump is kept in standby mode.
A “Ryanair” spokesperson stated in a declaration to “GB News” that on December 22, while a flight on the Edinburgh–Faro route was preparing for departure, the wingtip of the aircraft made contact with the cabin of a fuel truck. An investigation into the incident is underway.
