The Russian side positively evaluates the results of the bilateral meeting held in Dushanbe on October 9.
Modern.az reports that this was stated by Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov in an interview with “Rossiya 1” TV channel.
According to him, Moscow highly appreciates the results of the meeting held in Dushanbe between Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev.
Peskov emphasized that the meeting was significant for the development of relations between the parties, and the agreements reached will contribute to various directions of Russia-Azerbaijan cooperation.
Previously, the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan had announced that President Ilham Aliyev would not participate in the informal summit of the heads of state of the Commonwealth of Independent States to be held in St. Petersburg. According to the information, the reason for this is the head of state's busy work schedule.
