US President Donald Trump announced that the presidents of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan would be invited to participate as guests in the G20 summit to be held in Miami in 2026.
Modern.az reports that he provided this information on the social network "Truth Social".
"This morning I had two very good phone conversations with President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. We discussed the importance of achieving peace in ongoing conflicts, as well as increasing trade and cooperation between our countries. The relations between our countries are very good," Trump stated.
He noted that next year the US will host the G20 summit:
"We will send an invitation to both leaders to join us as guests at this important event in Miami."
