Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, during her address to the staff of the government office on the eve of Christmas, asked the employees to rest well during the holidays.

In her speech, the Prime Minister, referring to her team as a “family”, said that they had fought together against difficulties throughout the year.
She emphasized that the past year had been difficult for everyone, but jokingly added that there was no need to worry, as the coming year would be even more difficult. It was precisely for this reason that Meloni advised her staff to get sufficient rest during the holidays.
These statements by the Prime Minister were evaluated by local media as an example of dark humor.
