The plane carrying the general crashed CONFIRMED - FOOTAGE

A plane flying from Ankara to Tripoli, with General Mohammed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad, Chief of Staff of the Libyan Armed Forces, on board, has crashed.

Modern.az reports that Turkey's Ministry of Interior announced that the wreckage of the plane was found near the village of Kesikkavak.

There were 5 people on board the plane, including the general.

It is noted that while over the Haymana district, the pilot requested permission to land. However, contact with the plane was subsequently lost.
