In his two autobiographies, "On the Outside Looking In" and "Twice Adopted," he recalled coming to terms with adoption and his difficult childhood.
M. Reagan authored several books, including "Lessons My Father Taught Me," published in 2016, which detailed the lessons he learned from his father, the president, during his childhood. Throughout his life, Reagan raised money and worked for charitable organizations.
He served on the advisory board of the Mixed Roots Foundation, which focuses on guardianship and adoption issues in the US and worldwide.
Michael Reagan was married twice and had two children.
