US President Donald Trump answered a question regarding the possibility of Russian leader Vladimir Putin being detained "Venezuela-style".
Modern.az reports that in response to journalists' questions at the White House, Trump stated that he did not believe such a step was necessary.
"I don't think that will be necessary. We have always had a great relationship with him. I was very disappointed. I have resolved 8 wars. I thought the Russia-Ukraine conflict would be one of the easiest wars to resolve. In the last month, they have lost 31,000 people, many of whom are Russian soldiers, and the Russian economy is in a difficult situation. I think we will finally resolve this issue", Donald Trump noted.
