Due to the brutal suppression of mass protests, the Iranian government will collapse in the coming days.
Modern.az reports that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated this on his social media page. Merz called on the Iranian leadership to stop threatening the population. He added that the government is living its last weeks, perhaps even its last days.
"The regime's violence against its own people is a sign of weakness, not strength. This must stop immediately. To emphasize this, we are working on additional European Union sanctions," he said.
It should be recalled that mass protests have been ongoing in Iran since December 29 of last year.
