NATO from Turkey REQUESTED ASSISTANCE

NATO has requested assistance from Turkey for the Baltic countries.

Modern.az, citing Bloomberg, reports that the alliance has requested Turkey to deploy F-16 fighter jets to the region to patrol Estonia's airspace from August to December 2026.

This request is related to the alliance's intention to strengthen its defense after Russia violated Estonia's airspace.

So far, Ankara has not responded to this request.
