The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has instructed that negotiations be held with the United States.
Modern.az reports that a source in the Iranian government told the “Fars” agency that President Pezeshkian has ordered the start of new negotiations with the United States.
According to the source who spoke to the “Tasnim” News Agency, a negotiation process involving high-ranking officials from Iran and the United States may begin in the coming days.
The Iranian source stated that "the exact location and date of the talks have not yet been determined, and they will most likely be chaired by Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Steve Wickoff (US President Donald Trump's special envoy)".
Iran and the United States are expected to hold talks regarding the nuclear issue.
