US President's special envoy Steve Witkov and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi are expected to meet in Istanbul on February 6 to discuss a possible nuclear deal.
According to Modern.az, “Axios” wrote about this, citing two sources. The source stated that this meeting is the best-case scenario, but emphasized that the decision regarding it is not yet final.
The planned meeting will materialize as a result of diplomatic efforts by Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar in the last few days. This will be the first meeting between US and Iranian officials since the suspension of talks and the 12-day war that occurred in June last year.
