An explosion occurred in the Shia mosque named Khadijatul-Kubra, located in the Tarlay district of Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
Modern.az reports, citing foreign media, that as a result of the explosion, at least 24 people died and 101 people were injured.
It is presumed that the explosion was carried out by a terrorist. The perpetrator also died. However, this information has not yet been officially confirmed.
Islamabad police are investigating the details of the incident.
