The main condition of the peace agreement is security guarantees, and these must be signed before other documents.
Modern.az, citing foreign media, writes that these words were stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to Zelenskyy, the signing of security guarantees creates reliability:
“This will create a basis for future political decisions.”
Zelenskyy added that Russia does not want Ukraine to conclude a security agreement with the US, but this will not affect Kyiv's position:
“Russia does not want our agreement with the US. But we are not discussing this. In any case, Ukraine will receive security guarantees. The end of the war is not possible without security guarantees.”
