At least 12 people have died and three others have been seriously injured as a result of a road accident in the north of Afghanistan's Badakhshan province.
Modern.az reports that foreign media outlets have disseminated information about this.
It is reported that women and children are among the victims.
The accident occurred when a passenger vehicle traveling from Fayzabad, the provincial capital, to the district center of Arghanjkhwa, veered off the road and plunged into a ravine.
