The "WarGonzo" project, known for its proximity to the Russian authorities, announced that it had received an official response from the Armenian National Security Service last November regarding the denial of entry to Yerevan for the publication's special correspondent, Dmitry Seleznyov.
Modern.az-According to information, the response states that the journalist's activities were assessed as a "threat" to Armenia's state security, constitutional order, the country's defense capability, and public order. On this basis, it was stated that his entry into the country was not permitted.
The "WarGonzo" editorial team believes that the main reason for the correspondent's denial of entry to Armenia is his presence in the Karabakh territory in 2020 and his coverage of the events that took place during that period.
It should be noted that the "WarGonzo" project, led by Semyon Pegov, is known for its biased and provocative activities against Azerbaijan in its materials related to the region.
