In Faridabad district of Haryana state, India, one person has died and 13 people have been injured as a result of an amusement ride collapsing at the Surajkund fair.
Modern.az reports that the incident occurred due to the side support of the giant rotating swings breaking at the highest point of the seats, and people fell to the ground.
During the incident, a police inspector who saw the platform bending and tried to rescue people died, while the 13 injured people have been hospitalized.
Faridabad District Commissioner Ayush Singh stated that a criminal case will be opened against the platform's operator.
