Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has appointed new interior and justice ministers.
Modern.az reports that the decision was published in the Official Gazette. New justice and interior ministers have been appointed.
According to the President's decision, Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor Akın Gürlek has been appointed to the Ministry of Justice, replacing Yılmaz Tunç, who submitted his resignation and whose resignation was accepted. Erzurum Governor Mustafa Çiftçi has been appointed to the Ministry of Interior, replacing Ali Yerlikaya.
It is noted that the appointments were made in accordance with Articles 104 and 106 of the Constitution.
