The Episcopal Assembly of the Armenian Apostolic Church convened in Sankt Pölten, Austria.
Modern.az reports that Catholicos Karekin II of the Armenian Apostolic Church also addressed the participants online.
Subsequently, Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia, Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem Nurhan Manukyan, and Patriarch Sahak Mashalyan of Constantinople also delivered speeches.
It should be noted that at the meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council on January 13, Catholicos Karekin II of the Armenian Apostolic Church had announced that a general assembly of Armenian bishops would be convened outside the borders of Armenia on February 16-19.
It should be recalled that a criminal case has been opened against Catholicos Karekin II, who supports Armenian separatism and incites the people against the current government.
